Logistics Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Uni-Select Inc. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verifying invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Examine the condition of merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, and ensure customer sign-off.
  • Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns, and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency.
  • Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensuring proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties.
  • Comply with electronic delivery principles and standards.
  • Ensure any customer complaints or dissatisfaction are immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager.
  • Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, tire condition, and ensure cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle.
  • Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times.
  • Check-in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on delivery progress/delays.
  • Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory.

Requirements:

  • No experience required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Possesses high interpersonal skills to develop and maintain working relationships.
  • Able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
