Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Making deliveries and pickups at customer and vendor locations, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Resolving shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Additional Duties:

  • Counting and verifying received materials, identifying special order items, and storing them in the proper location.
  • Preparing shipments for pickup or delivery, completing documentation as required.
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety by removing debris and notifying management of any safety issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
  • A minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a valid G license, clean driving record; DZ license an asset.
  • Knowledge of CVOR and a clean CVOR record.
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck.
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge.
