About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team at Canaccord Genuity Corp.

As a key member of our Cash Management Group, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, market research, and relationship-building.

Responsibilities
  • Create custom proposals using Excel to drive business growth
  • Manage client and partner relationships through proactive communication and follow-up
  • Support the sales team in setting up meetings with potential clients
  • Track and report monthly sales metrics to inform business decisions
  • Cultivate new leads and opportunities
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or higher level of education
  • Completion of or in the process of obtaining the CSC (Canadian Securities Course)
  • Vibrant and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter attributes, motivated and hardworking
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Adaptability to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Able to present a polished appearance in a formal business environment
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and cloud applications
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental coverage, RRSP matching, and other perks.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of finance professionals, receive mentorship and training, and contribute to the success of our Cash Management Group.
