GFL Environmental is a leading provider of environmental services, and we're looking for a skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Port Moody. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support to our team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases as required.
  • Sort, review, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail, facsimiles, and electronic transmissions.
  • Provide final review of invoices prior to submission to clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and provide follow-up as required.
  • Upload invoices into payment portals as defined by our clients.
  • Prepare monthly invoices and billing summaries as required by clients.
  • Review purchase orders assigned to service orders to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Participate in regular P&L reviews to understand financials and support business strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience in billing, invoicing, and/or payroll is considered an asset.
  • A degree, diploma, or certification in business administration, payroll, or equivalent is also an asset.
  • Strong computer literacy and comfort working with multiple systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable means of transportation to get to the office.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Detailed-oriented and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a multifaceted and dynamic working condition.
  • Proficient in managing a high number of invoices daily.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plan matching.
