About the Role:

The Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Fundraising Specialist to join their Philanthropy and Partnerships department. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing strategic fundraising initiatives to secure major gifts from corporations and other organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate giving strategy that aligns with the foundation's overall fundraising goals.
  • Become an expert in understanding the philanthropic needs and priorities of corporations in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate partners, including identifying new opportunities for support.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals and reports to showcase the impact of corporate funding on the foundation's programs and services.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate fundraising or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with corporate partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for corporate support.
