About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Fundraising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for securing major gifts from individual donors, corporations, and foundations to support our mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve annual revenue targets;">
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high net worth individuals, corporate leaders, and foundation representatives;">
  • Cultivate and steward donor prospects through personalized solicitations, events, and other engagement activities;">
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to leverage resources and expertise;">
  • Analyze data and track progress towards goals to inform strategic decision-making.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A post-secondary education in business, event management, communications, public relations, or a related field;">
  • Demonstrated experience in major gift fundraising, with a proven track record of success;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders;">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically;">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using fundraising software an asset.">

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum

">

This salary range reflects the estimated compensation for this role based on industry standards and market conditions in the region.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Hamilton area, with flexibility to travel occasionally as required.
