We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Finance Validation Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information related to corporate finance transactions. This includes verifying loan and lease documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Verify loan and lease documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.
- Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, communicating effectively with stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and activities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
