The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Development Officer. This role plays an integral part in advancing the mission of our organization by fostering strong relationships with sponsors, funders, and donors, while generating support from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding annual giving opportunities. This involves researching, writing, and preparing fundraising materials, including cases for support, proposals, grants, briefing notes, reports, and other correspondence.

In this exciting mid-level position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. With a focus on hybrid work environments, we offer a dynamic and engaging experience that combines flexibility with collaboration.

About the Role:
  • Foster strong relationships with sponsors, funders, and donors
  • Generate support from individuals, corporations, and foundations
  • Develop and implement effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
  • Prepare fundraising materials, including cases for support, proposals, grants, and more
