Job Description

We are seeking a skilled National Business Development Manager to join our team in the GTA West territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing sustainable sales volume within a given profitability framework for your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business plan for your territory, including objectives and plans for key accounts.
  • Cultivate and develop new and existing business opportunities through various channels, taking into consideration volume, product mix, and predetermined targets.
  • Execute our sales process, utilizing our CRM platform to record sales activity and gather account-specific information.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely communication and follow-up to address customer inquiries or problems.
  • Conduct training sessions as required, sharing product updates with customers and participating in promotions and celebrations.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and opportunities aligned with our overall business objectives and goals.
  • Represent our company and brand at trade shows as required.
Requirements:
  • Energetic, motivated, and driven by results.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage varied workloads.
  • Captivating presentation and communication skills.
  • Natural ability to engage people and creatively solve problems.
  • Good business sense and negotiation skills.
  • Superior product knowledge or the ability to learn about our products.
  • Customer-focused and dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external clients.
Experience/Education:
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration specializing in Sales & Marketing.
  • At least 5 years in a field sales role.
  • Experience selling in automotive or commercial industries an asset.
  • Experience selling lubricants or consumer packaged goods.
  • Experience using a CRM.
  • Proven ability in territory sales, including creative and fact-based selling, merchandising, administration, and experience selling to direct and indirect buying headquarter accounts.

  • A full-time, permanent position with a competitive total compensation package ($85,000 - $105,000 per year), commensurate with experience.
