About the Role

As the National Quality Appraisal Lead your primary responsibility will be to review appraisal reports completed by appraisers to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations. You will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of standardized processes and training programs aimed at enhancing the quality and consistency of appraisal reports.

**Responsibilities**:
- Review appraisal reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards (CUSPAP and USPAP) and regulations.-
- Identify errors, discrepancies, or inconsistencies in appraisal reports and work with appraisers to rectify them.-
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to appraisers, focusing on areas for improvement and best practices.-
- Monitor and track appraisal report corrections to ensure they meet company and industry standards. Develop a tracking process and use appropriate tools to track performance improvement for the companies that had been identified with issues and coached accordingly.-
- Collaborate with the appraisal management team to establish and maintain quality control guidelines and procedures.-
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality reviews, process development, and training efforts.-
- Develop and implement quality assurance initiatives that will improve performance.-
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of appraisers.-
- Review specific client quality reporting and provide specialized feedback and answers. Attending client meetings as requested-
- Assist with the escalation and provide professional input with regards to client value appeal requests.-
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and market trends to ensure the highest quality standards.**Skills / Knowledge**- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills-
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines (e.g., CUSPAP, USPAP).-
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.-
- Effective coaching and communication skills.-
- Proficient in using appraisal software and tools.-
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.-
- Strong organizational and time management skills.**Educatio**n- Certified and designated Appraiser (CNAREA or AIC) - CRA/DAR preferred-
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the appraisal field-
- Bilingual - English/French-
- Proven experience in quality control and review of appraisal reports.
