National Manager, 2SLGBTQ+ Business Development

:Primary responsibilities will include:
• Design a Sales Development Program to drive and accelerate business growth across One TD: Business Banking, partnering across all LOBs and more broadly across the enterprise with key corporate partners
• Relationship management of key partners and executives across business banking, wealth and TDCT
• Demonstrate a strong understanding and visible passion for the Strategy and Sales Development and how it will contribute to a long-term sustainable advantage for TD.
• Develop and deliver a variety of tools and tactics to support the delivery of the sales strategy, including:
o Look for new sub-segments to target and create a program that can be launched through the various LOB.
o Support the development of Marketing materials and content aimed at our 2SLGBTQ+ customers.
o Be a passionate advocate for the client experience. Drive a client centric proposition.
o Own and lead programs end to end on a diverse set of sales development projects and initiatives with various businesses, support groups and partners.
o Lead Sales strategies and Initiatives where best practices and synergies can be leveraged across the One TD businesses.
o Have a strong understanding of TD businesses, core strategies and tactics to deliver business growth.
• Develop the optimal One TD Distribution Strategy to ensure accelerate business growth
· Design enhanced training and ongoing development of Regional Managers and One TD advisors
· Manage key relationships with National Sales Managers across Business Banking, Wealth and the TDCT to collaborate and embed support for segment
· Maintain key relationships with One TD corporate partners, including Community Investment, Marketing, ESG and HR partners to collaborate and embed support
· Stay current on Business Banking, Wealth and One TD partner strategies and initiatives to ensure consistency in enhancing TD's Brand, Customer Experience and Business Development
• Be the "face of the bank" and Thought Leader for the segment internally and externally in the Black community
• Excellent Sales leadership acumen to drive performance of this important segment
• Track, measure, and report key metrics of the program to understand all portfolio growth
Key Metrics/Indicators of Success may include:
• TD's 2SLGBTQ+ Community's Brand awareness internally and externally
• One TD Volume Growth through business acquisition and relationship deepening
· In Market team engagement, expertise, and business results, including direct and indirect reports
• Increasing Share of Wallet and Market Share
· Strategies to further franchise existing and new TD clients across business lines
· Driving client experience improvements and other demonstrable measures around improve client experience and a unique customer offer
Department Overview
TD is on a journey to leverage its strong brand equity to become the undisputed bank of choice in the Black community. To win and reach our vision, we have built a cross-enterprise effort that include TD Business Banking, Wealth and TDCT with our plan and capabilities to enhance our brand, deepen relationships with existing customers and drive new to bank business.
These programs will have detailed market analysis and customer research, as well as reviews of our product offerings, referral and acquisition tactics and processes. The National Manager, 2SLGBTQ+ Community Sales Development will lead a team of Regional Business Development Managers across Canada reporting into them.
Our goal provides elevated advice and customer experience for our 2SLGBTQ+ customers to ensure financial health and security.
Our team are responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining client segment programs to build awareness, accelerate acquisition and deepen client relationships.
This team will actively work to strengthen the strategic and tactical alignment between core businesses including TDCT, TD Wealth, TD Business Banking and TD Insurance and core partners including Marketing, Digital and Phone Channel
Success for Segment Strategy will be measured along several metrics:
• Increasing Share of Wallet and Market Share at a segment and business level
• Deepening client relationships across TD Business Banking and Wealth and the enterprise
· Driving new to bank acquisition
· Enhancing Client Experience
