Job Title: Youth Development Specialists

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and passionate professionals to join our team as Youth Development Specialists. In this role, you will be working with children and youth between the ages of 8-18 years old, providing care and support for their development of life skills and social skills.

Program Overview:

The Intensive Service Program (ISP) and Live-In Treatment Program at NEOFACS provide specialized services for children and youth who require a safe and supportive environment to thrive. Our team of dedicated professionals work together to create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to children and youth in the ISP and Live-In Treatment Program
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote skill-building and personal growth
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to crisis situations as needed

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Social Services, Human Services, Police Foundations, Community and Justice Program, Paramedic, or Registered Practical Nursing (RPN)
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate (Eight Months or longer) may also be considered
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset for some positions and required for others
  • Valid driver's license and use of own vehicle

What We Offer:

N.EOFACs offers a competitive hourly rate of $28.55 - $37.06 per hour. This position requires flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights. If selected, please advise us of any accommodation measures you may require during our selection process.
