Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Clinician - Critical Care Specialist. As a critical member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to established standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to critically ill patients, demonstrating excellent assessment, critical thinking, and intervention skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs to enhance patient care and staff development.
- Certificate of Registration ~ College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate and ACLS Certificate required.
- Broad Ambulatory Care / Critical Care / Post Procedural Care experience required.
- Current Certificate in I.V. Therapy and Central Line Management required.
- Demonstrate excellent level of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary: $76,186.50 per year (as per Step 1 of the ONA collective agreement).
