Our Hybrid Work Model
We offer a balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions. This role requires you to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am - 5:00pm. However, during the first year with us, you will be required to work every Saturday. After the first 12 months, you will be in 1 of 5-week rotation.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per year, plus opportunities for financial rewards and performance-led bonuses. Our industry-leading Employee Share Purchase Plan allows us to match 50% of net shares purchased, providing additional growth opportunities for our employees. We also provide an extensive flex pension and benefits package, with access to virtual healthcare.
About the Role
This position plays a key role in providing the best possible protection for our clients' most valuable assets by advising them on informed choices and answering product questions. You will analyze customer needs, promote products and services, and suggest innovative solutions. As a Protection Specialist - Sales and Customer Service, you will guide auto and home customers on insurance solutions and contribute to the development and support of new initiatives by working closely with the brokerage network.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. You must be a team player, dynamic, and customer-driven, with developed advisory skills and great communication and negotiation skills. Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, but not required. The ideal candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
