About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos (Maple Ridge). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve staff performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
    • Manage events and promotions to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Manage work schedules and staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
