About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Wei Kitchen Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development
    • Plan and develop menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness.
  • Chef Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
    • Train and develop staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Implement and maintain food safety and quality control procedures.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
    • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of success in menu planning, chef management, and food safety and quality.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
