About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Victoria Pocha Restaurant LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Lead the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring they are consistently delivered to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership and Training
    • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles to the highest standards.
    • Lead and motivate the kitchen team, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of the restaurant.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is ordered and stored efficiently, and that waste is minimized.
    • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that the restaurant is profitable.
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and hygienic, meeting the highest standards of health and safety.
    • Implement and maintain a system of checks and balances to ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Language
    • English.
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.
