About the Role

The Staff Scheduler will play a vital role in maintaining schedules for various departments, ensuring seamless operations and meeting operational needs. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records for various departments
  • C coordinate scheduling changes, including vacation approvals, time off requests, and leave of absence
  • E nsure timecard accuracy and compliance with collective agreement language, policies, and legislation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with scheduling in a unionized hospital environment
  • Proficiency in computerized scheduling and payroll systems
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • A high school degree is required; community college education is preferred
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and pension plan.
