Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Clerical Support to join our Patient Access team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, while ensuring the smooth operation of our patient scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first contact for patients and families, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with care providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Manage patient scheduling, including booking appointments, managing waitlists, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as word processing, data entry, and filing.
  • Model the organizational core competencies and demonstrate a commitment to customer service, teamwork, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Diploma in Medical Office Administration or relevant post-secondary diploma from an accredited academic institution.
  • Minimum one year of clerical duties in an acute care healthcare environment.
