As a key member of the Southlake Regional Health Centre team, the Program Clerical Support plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical information
• Coordinate and schedule appointments, tests, and procedures
• Respond to inquiries and concerns from patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Requirements:

• Minimum one (1) year of clerical duties in an acute care healthcare environment
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of medical electronic health record systems
• Current experience in computerized provider/physician order entry (CPOE) an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service
