At Southlake Regional Health Centre, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to our patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient appointments and perform clerical duties under the direction of nursing staff and physicians.
  • Act as a receptionist and communicate with patients on the phone and in person.
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including word processing and data entry.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of clerical duties in an acute care healthcare environment.
  • Proven ability to attend work regularly and demonstrate current knowledge and skill in the use of medical electronic health record systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with a commitment to customer service and teamwork.
