Job Description

**Job Title:** Validation Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Validation Engineer to join our team at TEC Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing verification and validation of automotive systems to meet federally regulated guidelines for software performance, safety requirements, manufacturability, and vehicle functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform verification and validation of automotive systems to meet federally regulated guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain master Design Verification Plans (DVPs) for Vehicle Validation.
  • Create and manage Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R).
  • Develop and maintain test procedures, including traceability of test artifacts to requirements.
  • Perform initial root cause analysis activities.
  • Document test procedures and develop new tests as appropriate to enhance coverage.
  • Ensure test properties functionality for validating the appropriate functions.
  • Enter test results at all I-Points for all programs.
  • Document issues in the Portal and GIMs system.
  • Provide Validation Project Chief with DVP&R results and open issues found.
  • Provide leadership in the areas of formulation and implementation of testing strategies, including traceability from requirements to results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 0-3 years of automotive test/validation work experience required.
  • Experience with following tools (Preferred): Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, CDA.
  • Excellent Communications Skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Will be required to travel domestically 20%.
  • Will be onsite 100% with some travel (for vehicle pick up and drop off).
  • Candidate must be able to cross the border and be comfortable driving vehicles.
Additional Information:
  • Plywood buck test engineer.
  • Test vehicle function requirements are met for signal and communication for ICE and EVs.
  • The modules and network management are performing properly (identify faults).
