Job Summary:

Premier Staffing Solution is seeking a highly skilled Validation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive systems by performing verification and validation of software performance, safety requirements, manufacturability, and vehicle functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Verification and Validation: Perform thorough verification and validation of automotive systems to meet federally regulated guidelines for software performance, safety requirements, manufacturability, and vehicle functionality.
  • Test Development: Develop and maintain test procedures, including traceability of test artifacts to requirements, and initial root cause analysis activities.
  • Documentation: Properly document test procedures and develop new tests as necessary to enhance coverage.
  • Communication: Clearly document issues in the Portal and GIMs system, and provide regular updates to the Validation Project Chief on DVP&R results and open issues found.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership in the areas of formulation and implementation of testing strategies, including traceability from requirements to results, to achieve broader testing capabilities across multiple vehicle platforms.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Experience: Minimum 0-3 years of automotive test/validation work experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Tools: Experience with Vector CANalyzer and/or CANoe, CDA, and other relevant tools.
  • Travel: Will be required to travel domestically 20% and may be required to travel to the US for meeting and team-building events.

Additional Information:

  • Plywood buck test engineer.
  • Test vehicle function requirements are met for signal and communication for ICE and EVs.
  • The modules and network management are performing properly (identify faults).
