Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Saint Germain Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and ensure that all orders are fulfilled to the highest standard.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that all products are available for sale.
- Staff Training: Train and develop staff members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods, including the development of new products and promotions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related industry.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week.
