Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Production: Prepare dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders, ensuring high-quality products that meet our standards.
- Special Orders and Decorations: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to perfection.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary materials to meet customer demand.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise staff members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods, including pricing, promotions, and display.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Large volume bakery environment.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
