About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Instructor for our aquatic programs. As an Assistant Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality swim lessons and promoting water safety awareness to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the instruction of learn-to-swim levels, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants.
  • Promote public education on drowning prevention and water safety awareness.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of program participants.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Respond to accidents and incidents involving patrons, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Perform light cleaning duties as assigned to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of forms and records, including participant attendance sheets and training records.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions as required to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
