We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Vocational Instructor for Heavy Equipment Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and guidance to individuals aspiring to become proficient in heavy equipment operation. **Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality instruction to students, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge in heavy equipment operation techniques.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols in accordance with provincial regulations, including ensuring proper safety gear is worn by all individuals in the training environment.
- Maintain professional interactions with students, visitors, staff, contractors, and site owners, representing the company with integrity at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized training site, including office areas, tool storage, and surrounding spaces.
- Communicate equipment status and repair needs promptly to the Campus Manager.
- Collaborate with office staff for scheduling adjustments and ensure accurate submission of student paperwork and instructor time sheets.
- Enforce access restrictions to the training site and equipment, preventing unauthorized usage.
- Promptly communicate any absences or emergencies to the Campus Manager and follow established emergency procedures.

**Duties**:

- Prepare training areas for daily operations, ensuring all necessary equipment and accesses are open and available.
- Demonstrate expertise in heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and general knowledge to facilitate effective training sessions.
- Adhere to assigned student training schedules, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Notify the Campus Manager of any requests or issues communicated by the site owner.
- Maintain proper fluid levels in equipment and diesel storage tanks, coordinating fuel deliveries as necessary.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, parked, and secured at the end of each shift.
- Maintain organized key management and regularly submit equipment reports to the Campus Manager.
- Secure all equipment, buildings, and site accesses at the close of each day.

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation required
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
