About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at SBLV Optometry. As an Administrative Assistant in our medical office, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction
    • Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain accurate case histories
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients in a timely manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential medical records
    • Process insurance claims and other paperwork
    • Manage and maintain our filing system
    • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Communication
    • Prepare and format medical reports and correspondence
    • Enter data into our electronic system
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
    • Skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Accurate and detail-oriented
      • Ability to work in a team environment
