Revenue Management Analyst Job Description

As a key member of our Commercial Strategy team at AccorHotel, the Revenue Management Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Revenue Management to improve and maintain data quality efforts in all areas of revenue reporting. This includes facilitating system maintenance tasks, such as rate loading and inventory management maintenance of rate parity across all selling channels, as well as content management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the accuracy of information and data, and create/enhance automation efforts in reporting tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at various revenue meetings or for required reporting within the hotel or to corporate teams and ownership.
  • Generate and update all Revenue Management reports, serving as the primary link for reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership.
  • Assist in the monthly forecasting process and creation of the annual budget and marketing plan documents, as well as long-term projections.
  • Manage availability rates and inventory in all channels, and communicate strategies and restrictions to operations teams.
  • Ensure rate parity across all channels, collaborating with the sales team regarding follow-up processes for repeat offenders.
  • Assist with system maintenance, including rate loading, restrictions management, monitoring forecasted demand, and running daily system checks. System expert within distribution, RM, and reporting platforms.
  • Aid in content management in electronic channels, liaise with the hotel Marketing team to ensure regular updates of images and descriptions of hotel room brands, outlets, and services.
  • Maintain close relationships with GRC to ensure the call center is up-to-date on the hotel's information at all times.
  • Manage the relationship with Distribution System Support, manage technical tickets, and loading request follow-ups.
  • Support special projects within RM and Distribution focused on uncovering new revenue opportunities.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and reporting on a needed basis to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Presents a professional and polished appearance.
  • Effectively deal with guests and other team members.
  • Previous reservation experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with Ideas RMS, Opera PMS, Passkey, Delphi, or Opera Sales and Catering preferred.
  • Possessing the trait of being organized and multitasking.
  • Ability to complete work within given deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
