About the Role

Vente au Détail Bestseller Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring exceptional customer experiences in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Store Operations: Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise displays. Ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize losses.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales Performance: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive sales growth, working closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Store Maintenance: Oversee store maintenance, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.

  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of merchandise.
