About the Role

Vente au Détail Bestseller Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring exceptional customer experiences in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Store Operations: Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise displays. Ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize losses.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales Performance: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive sales growth and meet sales targets.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, adhering to company standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to sales associates, promoting their growth and development within the company.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales or supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
