Service Desk Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team at Tolko Industries. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be the champion of IT within the business unit, building strong partnerships and delivering IT support and solutions that keep our business running.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Tier 1 support for Tolko standard applications and End User Computing standards.
- Receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve end-user requests and escalate incidents when necessary to maintain Service Level Agreements.
- Report to the Lead, Service Desk.
- College diploma or university degree in computer science and/or 2 years equivalent work experience in a customer service-focused IT role.
- Experience with service desk ticketing systems.
- Experience with desktop and server operating systems.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including desktops, servers, storage, mobile devices, and network devices.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related applications (Office, Teams, OneDrive).
- A competitive salary based on your skills and experience, with a base salary range of $ to $ per year.
