About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team at Tolko Industries. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and solutions to our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve service requests from various business units, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Provide Tier 1 support for Tolko standard applications and End User Computing standards.
  • Collaborate with the Lead, Service Desk to prioritize and escalate incidents as necessary to maintain Service Level Agreements.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience in a customer service-focused IT role.
  • Experience with service desk ticketing systems and desktop/server operating systems.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware and Microsoft Office applications.
