Job Description:

We are seeking a Strategic Talent Development Manager to join our team at Let's Get Moving Canada.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, including assigning projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations and employee relations.
  • The ideal candidate will also oversee the classification and rating of occupations, plan and develop recruitment strategies, manage training and development initiatives, and advise senior management on HR-related matters.
Responsibilities:
  1. Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations and employee relations
  2. Direct and control daily operations
  3. Evaluate daily operations
  4. Plan and organize daily operations
  5. Review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations
  6. Train staff
  7. Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
  8. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  9. Manage training and development strategies
  10. Oversee development of communication strategies
  11. Advise senior management
  12. Respond to employee questions and complaints
  13. Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  14. Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  15. Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  16. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in Human Resources

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
