About the JobWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Solas Bar & Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to exacting standards
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience as a chef in a similar environment
- A strong knowledge of menu planning, food safety, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
