About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, as well as ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and execution
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience
