Executive Chef for High-Volume Restaurant

Solas Bar & Grill is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team. As an experienced culinary leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
We are offering a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, based on industry standards in urban areas with similar job descriptions. This figure takes into account the level of experience required (3 years to less than 5 years), the duration of employment (permanent), and the working hours (40 hours per week).
Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
- Cook dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to achieve smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
