Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Laura-Jo Inc is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our retail and wholesale operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Supervise other workers
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Perform data entry
  • Provide customer service
  • Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
  • Maintain and manage digital database
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, SharePoint, Quick Books, Google Drive, and Lightspeed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and reliability
