About the Role

As a seasoned Marketing Director, you will lead the marketing function for the Maritimes Provinces, driving growth, innovation, customer and client experience, and stewarding the company brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceed assigned Like For Like (LFL) sales targets through effective execution and management of key initiatives.
  • Improve retail growth by applying strong retail execution principles, pricing, product assortment, and promotional activities.
  • Create and drive compelling sales-building initiatives requiring expertise in delivering superior consumer engagement, driving average cheque increases, accelerating transaction growth, and creating impactful upselling programs.
  • Exceed execution standards with a focus on speed of service improvements, while maintaining brand standards.
  • Become the trusted expert with the organization in LFL improvements and proper brand execution, assisting in training new team members and providing consultation when required.
  • Complete audit evaluations.
  • Attend required training for various brands and attain brand certification.
  • Lead social media as content advisor and standards keeper across campus locations in the regional geography, highlighting key brand messaging and campus success stories.
  • Ensure operators are supported to execute a rolling 12 months marketing plan in applicable units.
  • Drive innovative sales marketing for campus meal-plans and ongoing improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree an asset; culinary, hospitality, or hotel management degree desirable.
  • Experience in QSR, B2C marketing position preferred (including product, promotions, price, placement, and positioning); B2B experience beneficial.
  • Base understanding of financial components of contract foodservice and origins of revenue, margin, costs, and risks.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, holding standards of new programs high and ensuring field execution.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to adjust content across stakeholders from C-suite to the field and front-line associates.
  • A background understanding of operations enabling field-friendly and executable development.
  • Detail-oriented with strong writing skills to create and steward brand materials and voice.
  • Travel: 70%.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
