This role will see you work with schools, colleges, hospitals, office buildings, senior living communities, tourist attractions, sports venues, remote camps, and military installations across Canada and globally. You'll be working closely with regional stakeholders to drive growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction while ensuring our brand values are upheld.
Job OverviewThe Provincial Marketing Manager for the Maritimes region will lead the marketing strategy for the area, driving sales growth through effective initiatives, coaching unit managers, and maintaining a strong brand image.
This position includes providing guidance on meal plan sales, retail growth, and social media strategies to ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute regional marketing plans to meet or exceed Like For Like (LFL) sales targets, leveraging your expertise in consumer engagement, pricing, product assortment, and promotional activities.
- Improve retail sales by applying sound retail execution principles, focusing on pricing, product mix, and promotional activities that drive revenue growth.
- Create compelling sales-building initiatives, emphasizing superior consumer engagement, average cheque increases, transaction growth, and impactful upselling programs.
- Exceed execution standards by improving speed of service while maintaining brand standards, driving quality and consistency in all aspects of the business.
- Establish yourself as the trusted expert in LFL improvements and proper brand execution, guiding new team members, and providing consultation as needed.
- Carry out regular audit evaluations to ensure compliance with brand standards and policies.
- Pursue training for various brands and attain necessary certifications to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Lead social media efforts as content advisor and standards keeper, highlighting key brand messaging and campus success stories across the region.
- Support operators in executing a rolling 12-month marketing plan in applicable units, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Culinary, Hospitality, or Hotel Management.
- Experience in QSR or B2C marketing roles, particularly in product development, promotions, pricing, placement, and positioning.
- Familiarity with the financial aspects of contract foodservice, including revenue, margin, costs, and risks.
- Strong influence and leadership skills, with the ability to set high standards and drive field execution without direct authority.
- Presentation skills and adaptability when communicating with diverse stakeholders from C-suite executives to frontline associates.
- A basic understanding of operations to create field-friendly and executable solutions.
- Attention to detail and strong writing skills for creating and stewarding brand materials and voice.
- Travel: Approximately 70% of the time.
