About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Store Associate to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Management: Receive and stock merchandise, including unpacking and counting items, and maintaining a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Point of Sale: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience or equivalent.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
