About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Store Associate to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain accurate inventory levels, and ensure that shelves are fully stocked and facing.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
