Grocery Store Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Store Associate to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Merchandising and Stocking: Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Cash Handling and Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Inventory Management: Count and record inventory, identify and report any discrepancies, and participate in inventory control procedures.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide feedback and support, and maintain open communication with management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience or equivalent.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Language: English.
