About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Store Sales Associate at Dawson City General Store Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register with accuracy and efficiency, processing customer transactions and handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain a Clean Environment, ensuring a welcoming and organized store for customers.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process Transactions and Handle Customer Payments, accurately calculating daily/shift payments and reconciling with total sales.
  • Monitor Store Entrances and Exits, ensuring a secure and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Work Effectively in a Fast-Paced Environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail in a dynamic retail setting.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • 1 to Less than 7 Months of Retail Experience
  • Excellent Oral Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment
  • Flexibility to Work a Variety of Shifts
