About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Store Sales Associate to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and rotating stock.
  • Point of Sale: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Stockroom Operations: Receive and process incoming stock, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and management to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail sales experience or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
