Job Summary:

The Medical Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This role will involve a variety of tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and preparing medical reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
  • Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Medical Reports: Prepare and format medical reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets for review.
  • Office Administration: Order supplies, maintain inventory, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
