Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Amica Senior Lifestyles Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of payroll and benefits for up to 9 residences, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage full cycle of payroll and benefits for up to 9 residences, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely processing.
  • Support up to 9 residences with an overall average of 1,200+ employees.
  • Ensure all payroll and benefits transactions are accurately reported and recorded while maintaining compliance with tax laws, regulations, and company policy.
  • Administer employee benefit plan, ensuring benefit deductions and taxable benefits are set up accurately in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal files and payroll information.
  • Prepare reports as required, generating standard and complex reports.
  • Respond to all payroll and benefits-related inquiries from employees as required.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of Canadian payroll experience with strong customer service focus.
  • ADP Workforce Now payroll system experience is required.
  • Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of provincial employment standards and legislation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required.
