At Mountainview Medical Centre & Walk-In Clinic Inc., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain accurate records
  • Manage incoming mail and other materials, and distribute them to the appropriate staff members
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a smooth workflow
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms, and ensure timely submission
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system, and ensure confidentiality of patient records
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory, and ensure a well-stocked office
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and ensure efficient workflow
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, and respond to patient inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
