Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mountainview Medical Centre & Walk-In Clinic Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Key Responsibilities- Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain accurate records
- Manage incoming mail and other materials, and distribute them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a calendar of upcoming events
- Complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a filing system, and order supplies as needed
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and provide customer service to patients and staff
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
