Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Communications Director

Job Summary:

A dynamic and experienced Marketing Communications Director is sought to lead the development and execution of local marketing plans for the Canadian market of assigned business lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing communications, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute local marketing plans that align with business goals, industry trends, and overall company strategy.
  • Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals, including marketing, events, and digital marketing specialists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer experience, to develop effective marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Drive digitalization of business units and segments, working closely with the digital team to develop digital selling tools and applications.
  • Research and forecast events and initiatives to drive awareness of the ABB brand.
  • Coordinate and harmonize communication materials according to business requirements and guidelines.
  • Develop and manage effective internal communications for sales channels.
  • Ensure message and branding compliance and consistency.

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of industry experience in relevant marketing communications positions, including industry experience and project management.
  • Appreciation for working in international environments with strong intercultural skills.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, able to simplify complex technical content into appealing marketing messages and content.
  • Bilingual French and English, with French required and English required for communication with customers outside Quebec.
